A new era of strength testing has begun.
In June 2025, we quietly launched something that’s been years in the making: HSI (Hybrid Strength Index) — a global benchmark system designed to test and rank hybrid strength across raw power, muscular endurance, and functional fitness.
Now, two months in, athletes and everyday lifters from around the world are already testing, ranking, and sharing their HSI scores — and we’re just getting started.
What Is HSI?
HSI stands for Hybrid Strength Index — the world’s first standardized testing system that combines three pillars of modern strength:
-
Raw Strength: Your heaviest, most powerful lifts
-
Endurance: How long you can sustain effort under fatigue
-
Functional Fitness: Real-world strength — carry, throw, push, move
Unlike traditional strength tests that focus solely on PRs or barbell work, HSI captures the complete picture of athletic capability. It’s not just how much you lift — it’s how well your strength performs in the real world.
Why “Hybrid”?
Because real strength today isn’t one-dimensional.
Modern lifters train across disciplines: Strongman, CrossFit, bodybuilding, powerlifting, functional fitness — and HSI is the first system to unite them all under a single, data-driven format. Whether you’re a garage gym dad or a competitive athlete, HSI meets you where you are.
Built for Everyone — Everywhere
One of the most exciting parts of HSI? You don’t need to be at an official event to get started.
We offer two ways to test:
-
Offline Testing: Join an official in-gym or live event
-
DIY Testing: Use our downloadable test kit and submit your score from anywhere
Each test is globally ranked by:
-
Weight class
-
Event score.
So yes — your strength can finally be seen on a global stage.
What Happens After You Test?
After submitting your score and got verified:
-
You’ll appear on the official HSI leaderboard.
-
For offline tester, you’ll receive your HSI badge.
-
You’ll unlock eligibility for future competitions and special invites.
We’ve already seen lifters retesting, challenging friends, and using their HSI scores as training benchmarks. That’s what this is about: progress, accountability, and community.
What’s Next?
We’ve got some exciting things on the horizon:
-
New regional testing hubs
-
Certified HSI testing days
-
In-app tracking tools
-
HSI athlete highlights
But most of all — we’re excited to see your name on the leaderboard.
